Therapy That Goes Beyond Symptoms
When you search for "a therapist near me," you're usually looking for more than someone close by. You're looking for someone who understands what you're going through and can help you find change that actually lasts.
Bountiful Health offers in-person therapy for adults and college students throughout the East Bay and Tri-Valley, along with secure online therapy across California. Many of the people we work with appear to have things together on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relationship patterns, perfectionism, or a growing sense that something doesn't feel quite right.
Our integrative approach is tailored to your unique experiences and creates space to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and move toward greater clarity and self-trust. Whether you're reaching out from Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Berkeley, or elsewhere in California, you'll find thoughtful, individualized care designed to meet you where you are.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Location is one factor, but it’s rarely the most important one. What tends to matter more is whether the therapist’s approach fits what you’re looking for, and whether you feel like you can actually talk to them. A free consultation is the most direct way to answer both questions. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
-
No. In-person sessions are available at the Orinda office, which is convenient for clients throughout the East Bay and Tri-Valley. But online therapy is available to anyone in California. Many clients who live farther away prefer online sessions and find the depth and quality of the work is exactly the same.
-
The most common presentations are high-functioning anxiety, life transitions, and relationship or boundary patterns. Many clients describe functioning well externally while feeling disconnected, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed internally. They often don’t identify as “in crisis”, they’re simply at a point where the way they’ve been managing things has stopped working.
-
No. Many clients don’t arrive with a specific diagnosis or clinical label, and they don’t need one. What matters is that something in your life or inner experience isn’t working the way you’d like it to. That’s enough to reach out

For most of what I work with, anxiety, life transitions, relationship patterns, self-esteem, yes. The research on this is fairly clear, and it reflects my own clinical experience. The therapeutic relationship develops fully in an online format, and the depth of the work is the same. Some clients prefer in-person for the dedicated space and transition it creates; others prefer online for the flexibility. Both are legitimate choices.

My approach is relational and depth-oriented. That means I’m not offering a toolkit or a structured program. I work with the underlying patterns, the emotional history, the nervous system responses, the ways you learned to cope, that show up in your day-to-day life even when you can see them clearly. The work happens through the relationship between us, and it tends to reach places that insight and effort alone haven’t.

Begin with a free 20-minute consultation. It’s a conversation, not a commitment, a chance to get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like the right fit. You can reach out through the contact form, by phone, or by email. I typically respond within two business days.
