About Anita
Founder, Bountiful Health
Boutique East Bay Therapy in Orinda, CA
Hello, I’m Anita.
I’m the founder of Bountiful Health, a boutique East Bay therapy practice providing warm, relational, and deeply attuned care. If you’ve found your way here, you may be looking for a therapist who truly understands what you’re carrying and how much strength it takes to keep going. I’m glad you’re here.
Therapy with me is collaborative, intuitive, and centered on helping you feel grounded, understood, and more at home within yourself. Whether we meet in person in Orinda or online across California, you’ll find a space of calm, curiosity, and genuine connection — a place where we can slow down, make sense of what’s been hard to carry, explore what’s been keeping you stuck, and begin creating room for something new.
Your Search for the Right-Fit
East Bay Therapist:
You’ve read the books, pushed through, and kept it all together. From the outside, life looks fine, but inside, you might feel tired, anxious, or disconnected. No matter how much you try, something still feels off.
And now you’re here, scrolling another therapist’s website, wondering if this one will be any different. I get it. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming when you’re already carrying so much. You don’t have to do it alone.
I hope this page helps you get a sense of who I am and how I work, because therapy isn’t just about getting help. It’s about feeling safe, seen, and genuinely supported.
If you’re here, it’s likely because you’re ready for something deeper, to feel more at ease, more connected, and more like yourself again. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you take that step.
Why I Do This Work
Bountiful Health was created as a space where compassion, safety, and shared wisdom come together, a place where your well-being is genuinely cared for and your story is honored.
My passion for this work is deeply personal, rooted in my own healing journey and the transformative power of feeling truly seen and supported in therapy. That experience taught me that healing unfolds through empathy, honesty, and connection, and it continues to guide my work every day.
I’m especially drawn to reflective, growth-minded individuals who sense there’s more to life than holding it all together — those who long to feel more grounded, self-compassionate, and at ease within themselves. Each session is guided by the belief that healing unfolds through safety, trust, and presence, and that true change can be both gentle and profound.
Personal Background
I was born in the U.S. to an American father and an Armenian–Greek–Maltese mother and spent much of my childhood moving between countries. As a “Third Culture Kid,” I learned early what it means to adapt, belong, and hold many identities at once — experiences that now help me support clients navigating their own transitions, losses, or questions of belonging.
Growing up across cultures deepened my sensitivity to identity and to the universal longing to feel at home within oneself. It taught me to listen not just to words but to the emotions beneath them: loss, hope, resilience, and the desire to be understood.
In midlife, I decided to leave a long career in project management and follow my calling to become a therapist. Returning to graduate school at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) was humbling and transformative. That journey reminded me that change is possible at any stage of life — something I now help my clients discover for themselves.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a mother to two wonderful daughters who continually teach me about presence, patience, and unconditional love. I also find joy in reading, cooking, and traveling — experiences that keep me curious, grounded, and connected to our shared humanity.

Is Therapy Here Right for You?
If you’re a reflective, growth-minded individual who appears composed and capable on the outside but feels anxious, disconnected, or uncertain within, therapy at Bountiful Health may be the right fit for you. You might be someone who’s done some self-work, read the books, stayed strong for others, and kept going, yet still feel like something inside you hasn’t quite settled.
Life may look full, yet something deeper still feels off, like you’re holding it all together but never fully at ease. Beneath the surface, there may be exhaustion from constant striving, a fear of letting others down, or an ache to feel more authentic and connected to yourself and others.
I understand how disorienting it can feel to appear steady while carrying so much internally. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what’s been hard to carry, and begin healing at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll uncover what’s beneath the surface, bring compassion to the parts of you that feel stuck or unseen, and begin to build more clarity, self-trust, and peace of mind.
Common areas of focus include:
Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress
Perfectionism, shame, and low self-worth
Complex or developmental trauma
Relationship challenges and emotional disconnection
Life transitions and identity questions
Whether attending therapy in Orinda, meeting from nearby Lafayette, Walnut Creek, or Oakland, or engaging in online therapy across California, this is a space to reconnect with your values, your voice, and the parts of yourself ready to live with more ease, clarity, and self-trust.
A Space for Renewal & Reflection

Your journey is uniquely yours, and it’s an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strength, your truth, and the life you want to build.
Therapy here isn’t rushed or standardized—it’s personal, attuned, and deeply supportive. This is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and begin to feel more at home within yourself.
